PREPARATION & AFTERCARE
Know what to do before and after a visit.
The best checklist is the one for your agreed treatment. Use this guide to prepare your questions, then follow the technician's specific instructions.
Send an enquiry or call to discuss your property. Appointments are agreed directly.

Before you start moving things
Talk to the team before changing sleeping arrangements, dismantling furniture or moving potentially affected belongings between rooms. Do not throw away a mattress simply because you suspect bed bugs.
Make a short note of the rooms involved, signs, dates and products already used. Mention pets, children, sensitivities and any help you will need with preparation.
Ask for a workable preparation list
Ask what access is needed around beds and seating, how to handle textiles and which belongings should stay in place. If laundering or drying is advised, follow the agreed instructions and each item's care label.
If you cannot manage a preparation step, raise it before the appointment. Do not improvise chemical or heat treatment to compensate.
Re-entry comes from your treatment report
Follow the written re-entry requirements for the treatment actually used, including any drying, ventilation and exclusion conditions. Keep children and pets out until the relevant requirements are met.
If instructions are missing or unclear, call before returning. There is no single waiting period suitable for every method or household.
Cleaning and follow-up need the same clarity
Where a residual product is used, ask which treated surfaces need to remain undisturbed and when cleaning can resume. Avoid adding sprays, powders or steam to treated areas without discussing it with the team.
Keep a simple record of sightings, the room and exact place, any moved belongings and any cleaning. Follow the agreed review plan and contact the team if activity increases or appears elsewhere.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Start with what you know.
The room, the signs and your property details are enough to begin a useful conversation.
